Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains the cookies and similar storage technologies that Realzent (operated by Decipher Consultancy Services) uses on realzent.com, why we use them, and how you can manage your preferences. It supplements our Privacy Policy.
1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file that a website places on your device when you visit it. Cookies allow the website to recognise your device on subsequent visits, store small pieces of information, and enable features that would otherwise be impossible (such as keeping you signed in). Similar technologies include localStorage, sessionStorage, and pixel tags.
2. Categories of cookies we use
| Category | Purpose | Examples | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Required for the Service to function — authentication, session management, CSRF protection. Cannot be disabled. | realzent-session, XSRF-TOKEN |
Session / 2 hours |
| Functional | Remember preferences like language, sidebar state, theme. | locale, sidebar_collapsed |
30 days |
| Security | Detect abusive logins, rate-limit failed attempts, mitigate CSRF and XSS. | Cloudflare __cf_bm, cf_clearance |
Up to 30 days |
| Analytics (anonymised, aggregated) | Understand which pages are popular, identify broken flows. Used only if you have consented (where required). | Self-hosted aggregate counters; no third-party advertising trackers | 13 months max |
We do not use:
- third-party advertising or retargeting cookies;
- cross-site tracking cookies;
- social-network share-tracking pixels.
3. Third-party cookies
Some integrations we rely on may set their own cookies when their features are invoked:
- Razorpay — sets cookies during checkout to complete the payment securely.
- Cloudflare — sets bot-management and security cookies to protect the site from abuse.
- Bunny Fonts (used for web fonts) — does not set tracking cookies.
These third parties are governed by their own privacy and cookie policies.
4. Your choices
- Strictly necessary cookies cannot be turned off — disabling them prevents you from signing in.
- You can clear cookies from your browser settings at any time. Doing so signs you out and may reset preferences.
- You can configure your browser to refuse cookies, but the Service may not work as intended.
- For DPDP-consent-relevant cookies (analytics), we will display a cookie banner on first visit. You may change your choice at any time via the cookie banner's “Manage preferences” link in the footer (once enabled).
5. Do Not Track
Browsers may transmit a “Do Not Track” (DNT) signal. We do not use third-party advertising trackers, so DNT has no impact on our processing. Functional cookies remain in place because they are necessary for the Service to operate.
6. Changes to this Cookie Policy
If we materially change the cookies we use, we will update this policy and, where required, request renewed consent. The current version (and date) is always shown above.
